tenspoons Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 [need insight from women] I'm curious about how many women like to send generic replies to texts. I feel like every time I text a girl I just get a simple "why thank you :)". It's not as bad as the simple one word texts like "lol" or "lmao", but I get these thank you's even if I was being playful or teasing. I seldom give complements, if I do they are between the lines or light. Could it just be them being stupid and not knowing how to reply correctly, or are they trying to tell me something? Like "I appreciate your attempts but please give it a rest" type of deal? It's just a little frustrating because I leave the message clear and open for her to come back at me with something witty as well, but all I get is a thank you to something that wasn't even a complement. What ever happened to playing along? Don't even bother giving a reply if you are going to be lame about it is all I'm sayen.

Generally, the more attractive the woman is, the less likely that she ever felt the need to develop an entertaining personality. And therefore, chances are, she'll have to entertain you not with her winning personality, but with her winning rack. Everyone brings something different to the table. If she bores you, drop her. Because you know she's going to drop your ass if you don't measure up.

I've never seen their cleavage. legs are never without some sort of covering like nylons or dresses. these are very classy women in their mid to early 20s with amazing personalities, but sometimes they just suck at being fun over texting. It's no big deal, texting is very casual and shouldn't be taken seriously in the first place. I just want to know if someone else does this, and what they are thinking when they do it. I assume it has something to do with being too busy to be bothered with silly texting games. Again though, it's not like they say anything or try to stop the conversation, they just give me a thank you to something that wasn't even meant to be given gratitude for. It makes little sense to me.

As long as you have something to bring, and you're fine with the consequences of what you're bringing, then it's all good. But, yes, sometimes people get busy or whatever, or they're just not in the mood to banter. Also, some people like text messages, not so much for others. I don't think it's a big deal.
