I had been seeing someone I really like for one month. His ex-girlfriend is a psycho, but she is the mother of his daughter and she has been trying to get me, turning up at the work, sending abusive messages on facebook and coming to my boyfriend's house (when she knew I was in there) and shouting "slag" through the letterbox.

He has told her he would never get back with her, whether I was on the scene or not, it would make no difference, he still wouldn't be with her.

She rings his phone constantly (while he is at work too) and starts off nicely, then if she doesn't get her own way she gets abusive.

Her and her daughter by someone else (who is 15) ring him all the time for different things they want doing, something which I knew would annoy me eventually. He wasn't very firm with them either and would engage them in conversation.

Yesterday after an episode where she shouted through the letter box at me, I went home and told him that it was over until he has sorted out the situation with her. He has accepted it. Didn't really try and talk me out of it. But I am gutted. Did I do the right thing?

Wow, that sounds like one hell of a situation. I really don't know if I even have an advice. Did he try to defend you while she was shouting that stuff at you? Did he do anything at all?

I mean, he probably knows how messed up his situation is, and possibly doesn't want to force you to go through it with him? I really don't know. Has he contacted you?
