StrangeBehaviors Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Just reading several threads on here, there seems to be a pattern that has emerged. There are ALOT of threads on here started by men/boys where their significant other breaks up with little to no warning. Plus the guy is being decent to them. Then they find that she is with another person in a very short period of time. That happens. Guys have been cheating since the beginning of time too. But reading here this seems to be happening in a very high percentage. Ladies, any reason as to why?
AlexanderJames Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Im not a lady, but it could have something to do with the impact that comes with being cheated on? Like I've been through breakups in the past that where mutual and didnt take much to get over. But it wasnt until a really big hearbreaking end to a relationship that I hurt enough to actually find this website because I was in serious need of help. If that makes sense. It might take a lot of trauma to make someone seek the help of an online forum. As opposed to the thousands of mutual breakups that happen every day. *Plus I think that it would take more serious circumstances to make men join a community like this as opposed to women. Women are easier to seek help when it comes to emotional stuff. Men are often too proud or strong to admit theyre hurting. 1
