I've been dating this guy for about 3 months and everything is going well except for the fact that he lives 2 1/2 hours away and I'm already getting tired of the long distance thing. I told him that I thought we should start seeing other people because I'm was tired of the long drives to go see him. I do have feelings for him though. Last night he texted me and told me that he misses me and we got back together. He also said he wants me to be his forever. The thing is that we haven't said we loved each other so I thought that was a bit odd. Does this mean that he loves me or am I just taking it the wrong way? I don't want to ask because if he doesn't then I will feel stupid. Any opinions on this?

My boyfriend said he drove home from our first date thinking he might finally have met 'The One' but he didn't love me then, he just thought it could turn in to something big, something important.

Your guy may feel the same. He clearly is keen and you are too. You have to decide if the distance is too much. I had a relationship with that sort of distance and it brought a lot of hassle. We managed, but it would have been so much better without that. My boyfriend lives a mile away and I could never go back to distance.

I was thinking that too but I guess I just didn't understand it because if I didn't love someone, I wouldn't be thinking that I want to be with them forever, even if I liked them a lot. My bf dated a girl in Canada (we live in NJ) for 3 years so he doesn't have any problem doing the long distance thing but I'm having a hard time with it for a list of reasons. I told him that I can't do this for a long period of time so we agreed that when we hit the one year mark, that he would have his job transferred here.
