fusion324 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 There is this woman I work with who I really like, and I feel we have a good connection. A bunch of us from work went out for her birthday, and her and I talked a lot during the night here and there. At one point one of her guy friends, who she has known since she was five, comes up to me at the bar and tells me how she is a really great girl, she's real and honest, pretty, and has a good family ... basically making sure I knew how special she was. He did this in a very friendly, non-threatening way. I'm taking this as he either noticed how we interacted and was talking her up so I ask her out....or she expressed that she was interested in me and he was just trying to help along the "process". Either way I'm taking it as a good sign. What do you guys think about this? Am I right? PS. The guy friend is married and just had his second child so there isn't anything going on between the two of them or anything leading down that road.
MichiganMan222 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 My opinion? There's no question she expressed interest in you. The question is did she overtly ask him to mention that stuff to you or did he take it upon himself to tell you that stuff because he cares for her.

Regardless of if she put him up to it, things are favorable. Go for it because you're right! It's a good sign.
fishtaco Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Go for it. But, dating people from work has its drawbacks. If things don't work out, it could get ugly. Unless it's just a McJob, then you can just switch jobs.
Author fusion324 Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 Its definitely not a McJob ...I'm 28 and she's 29, but I believe if you want the reward you gotta take the risk. We'll see what happens.
