I am in that position and I think my new Woman is picking up on the fact something is not quite right and I am about to blow it again. Anyone been there ?

Anyone been there ? yeah, most of the time it's called a rebound relationship. Probably why it's better to stay single for a while before seeing someone new.

It could be. But the new lady is something special and I can see me blowing it wishing for the past which is not going to happen.

Well it's your job to show her she's the one you want to be with. One of the worst things you could do is mention the ex, the ex's family, the vacation spent with the ex, how your ex couldn't cook, etc etc.. you got the idea. We do not bring the ex up, AT ALL
