Uh, basically everyone is a commoner compared to him, Woggle.

And her family is loaded, so she was not exactly slumming it before she met him.

Funny how well-versed you are in her intentions though  Not that your opinion on any woman is fair, or really should be taken seriously.

I am not saying that no woman would date a regular guy but Kate probably married him because he is royalty.

Well, OP, when the days of chub and baldness overtake you I don't think you'll need to be concerned with whether a woman is social climbing or gold digging if she likes you.

Both Kate and Pippa are highly manipulative women [the way they acted in public, the way they acted during their breakups, etc ... ], but i'm sure the Will [and his brother] deserve all they get, being born into that family and not knowing how to act.

Quite funnily, Kate reminds me of Henry the VIII's 2nd wife. :)

kaylan has a point here, he made a jab at them and quite a lot of users who identify themselves as women started arguing.

Now i'll agree with some here that kaylan is not the most impartial user, in fact he has a history of female apologism so i suspect what he did say was on purpose to rile something up, or is a shift in his way of viewing things ... who cares.

Onto the OP.

I'm 30, i'm chubby and i'm balding. I'll certainly have a big patch of bare skin on top of my scalp when i'm 40.

Chubby part bothers me a bit so i'm going to act on it, but the baldness part doesn't bother me.

I don't intend to fix it, even though i am willing to resort to skincare/surgery when i'm older.

I read the thread and saw the comments of some of the women, who were repulsed by it ... doesn't bother me.

I actually see hair [all hair on head except eyebrows] as more of a bother than something good.

I am seriously considering shaving my head before i start going bald.

One celebrity that i think carries baldness well is Daniel Benzali, wath him in Suckers. :)

By marrying royalty, she has opened up her life to immense public scrutiny and criticism - often with no evidence to support it as is proved by some of the posts on this thread. She faces a lifetime of public duty. This is not a job you can retire from - just think of the Queen and Prince Phillip aged 85 and 90 respectively standing on a boat for 4 hours in the pouring rain a few weeks ago.

I am not pro-monarchy but the life these people lead is not plain sailing. They might have wealth but they have no privacy. If she was just after money, there are far easier options (and richer too).

You cannot buy status, title.

In your country that is still very much important, those ppl still control the country and the commoners still look up to it.

She will pop a few kids and then she will divorce him, because he is his father's son [Diana and Charles] and because most of the younger royal family doesn't know the meaning of oblesse oblige.

When she does divorce him, she will remain Duchess and keep primary custody of the kids.

But maybe me and kaylan are bitter, and of all the guys at St. Andrew's she just chose the Prince and her sister just chose the old-money guy who dumped her.

Not all women are like that. Julia Roberts married the camera guy from one of her movies. There are women who just want love but I would bet Kate is not one of them.

You can see into the future? No? Well you have no idea of whether they will divorce or not. None of us do
