I guess Im more so directing this question at women under 35, seeing as their male peers wont be as affected by aging as guys over that threshold.

Anyways, Im watching the Murray v. Ferrer match at Wimbeldon on ESPN. Prince Will and his gold digging wife were there lol. (and its already been established that shes a gold digger seeing as shes rarely worked in her life and only went to the college she did so she could run into William. Shes admitted this...so she had it all planned)

Anyways, I was looking at him and thought "jeez Will...youre only 30...wtf happened to you? You didnt have such chubby cheeks and didnt look so bald back in the day." The dude looks much older than his age imo...but I guess its good hes got his status...and well Kate did meet him back when he was slimmer and had fuller hair, so I can admit homeboy was a looker back in the day.

So it got me to thinking, especially since I think we can all agree healthy looking youth is most attractive to both men and women....but how would girls here react to dudes with big ole bald spots or with some chubs on them? From what Ive seen it would appear that dudes with bald spots fair a bit worse with ladies than their full haired counterparts. Nevermind the fact that Ive heard women go "eww hes balding" before, when talking about a young guy. Thats a big reason why I think shaving it all off will look better and make you look less old.

Which also made me wonder why guys like Prince Will dont just rock a bald head. Itd look tons better. Sure bald heads dont always look the best on white guys because of the contrast the stubble does with the scalp...but it looks much better than letting it grow and making the baldness draw more attention, no? I mean Jason Statham rocks the baldy short cut pretty well.

Personally Im 25 with a full head of hair, so Im not worrying about losing my hair just yet. Plus Im black and we dont bald nearly as fast or as early as white guys. Makes me wish I was Native American or Asian, because those men never ever bald it seems. But if I do bald in the future I guess Ill just shave it all off and look like Michael Jordan. I think the stubble matching with black skin is what makes fully bald black men so much more prevalent than everyone else.

Anyways, what do the ladies here say regarding balding and chubs? Does it turn you off any?

I don't see it as a issue. I was attracted to a man that had thinning hair, but he wasn't a chub. lol. I might one day end up w/ a man that turns into bald chub, so I won't judge if he feels insecure. But if it's something that doesn't bother him & he has a sense of humor, I could see myself picking at him.

We'd be like Red and Kitty Foreman from That 70's Show. :D

Dude are you kidding? Male patterned baldness is a huge issue with asian guys. Especially with thinning of the hair with their silky ass strands, lol!

I'm 25, and have male friends who are around my age group balding. It depends on the extent of the balding. Most of them just shave their heads, and I think they look fine but once the hair starts growing back, it looks a bit off to see a young guy who's balding.

There are treatments out there to help restore hair loss, which is what I'd personally do if I were a young man experiencing hair loss.

I've dated one guy who had to shave his head, but he was really hot, so it didn't bother me lol

Having hair is a genes lottery. There are no bald men in my family so I will never go bald.

However, I have noted that the truly good looking men continue to get the babes when the have hair loss.

And lets not forget that nowadays many black men and others shave the head and women still go crazy for them.

However, there are women that prefer a man with hair. In fact, some chicks prefer long 60s hair. I personally keep my hair a bit long.

sorry to disappoint you but when I was 25 I also had no hair loss whatssoever. After that things progessed pretty quickly so I had to "intervene" with treatment and the hair loss was stable after that.

and yes: in many cases hair loss makes men less attractive...

I don't have any problem with bald guys, but I don't like long-haired men...

About being chubby, alittle chubby is good but not too fat.

Yeah Wills looks like he aged 15 yrs in just a couple!

I don't like baldness, thinning hair. Total turn off, just ages the guy. Chub I mean...it depends. It's not on my list of ideals, of course, but not necessarily a total dealbreaker... My ex was losing his hair AND chubby. Now I look at him and am like wtf? but at the time was attracted to him. He was a bit slimmer and had full head of hair when we met, so I mean gaining weight and losing hair didn't cause me to lose attraction to him but I wouldn't be INITIALLY attracted to a guy looking like that now.

Why do you need to call his wife a gold digger?

anyway thinning hair and chubby would not matter if the rest of the package was great.

2 of my boyfriends including my current one are "chubby"

Posted

Both are major turn-offs for me. I've never been attracted to a bald or chubby guy.

Funny thing seeing this thread, as I can feel a patch of hair at the back of my head that is slightly thin compared to the rest of my hair, for a while now. But I told my Dad, who has dreads, and he said that he has thin hair in that same spot and that it's a family thing.

Any way, I'd imagine that a lot of girls may be aesthetically turned off by it, but some guys manage to get by even with it. Serious charisma though to compensate.

There are ways to stop yourself from balding though, by eating a lot of protein and having a good diet. That should also stop you from being chubby!

Why shouldnt I mention it? Id mention it in general conversation online or offline. I was making factual statements about two people I saw....a bald dude and a gold digging woman.

No biggie.

WTF

Kate Middleton is a gold digger!????????????????!?!?!

I thought she was a good girl who went to college because she was CLEVER, and happened to meet Wills there? She did NOT look like the type to go JUST to meet him:confused: really?

Damn, when she smiles she truly beams and has a really in love, happy smile! She looks genuinely friendly and warm...

And bald guys can be hot. I think it looks better though, to shave your head if you are going bald; it looks younger than a guy who is involentarily going bald.

Lol look it up...its old news that she picked her college so she could meet the prince.

And no homo, but Timothy Olyphant def rocked the bald head look well in the Hitman movie.

I'm in my mid-twenties and balding is absolutely a dealbreaker for me.

Link please.

Please note that the UK University system does not allow you to just buy your way in (which her family could by the way, they are very comfortable financially)

Im not your servant. Google is your friend. This is old news. You are very late here. This has been talked to death in the media as well. Its really so surprised a girl out there would set something up like that.

Her family may be well off, but thats not the same as being as well off as royalty. And that kind of status lasts for generations and generations...especially with how Britian holds onto its monarchy tradition.

I get it. No link because no real evidence to support your claim.

You have no way of knowing if she is a gold digger or not.

Are you too simple minded to do an easy google search? Again, this has been talked about in the media before how she chose St Andrew at her mothers urging so shed run into him. That story has been around for years.

What Im wondering is why you seem a bit butthurt that a woman out there might gold dig on a prince. Its not really far fetched.

Exactly. It is just assumptions being made by individuals with no knowledge of the real events/motives/emotions.

Funny how I actually live in the UK and have never seen that story

By the way, I am no royalist so don't even bother with that argument

Lmao @ people on this forum. As soon as you criticize a man or woman, out comes men or women taking it as a slight against their gender. Thats really the only reason youre butt hurt over what I said about on individual.

Funny thing is I dont see you do the same thing when you or your peers talk about men. Funny how only women took exception to what I said...so im making a valid point here.

This is not a gender issue. I have not said anything along those lines. All I asked was evidence for the claim you made.

Maybe you have a problem with women but I have no problem with men. Look at my posting history and you will see that I do not get involved in gender war threads or take sides based on gender.

Lol @ you missing my point. Notice how no men touched on the gold digger part. They went right for the main topic. Then notice how several women addressed the gold digger portion. How do you not see your gender has much to do with that.

And your posting history is a testament to that as well...as is most peoples on this forum. Most people get involved in convos or defend the stuff they feel attacks their gender.

Either way I was simpl making a statement regarding two individuals, and I responded to your request. I repeat: google is your friend. The stories are out there. My telling you that means what it means. It doesnt mean there havent ever been stories talking about why she went to St Andrews.

I know better than to get into the cycle of source provider circus...because as soonas I give you a link youll tell me "thats not a reliable source". So Im leaving you to find your own good sources that are easily out there at the top of any search. If I wasnt so sure of what I originally said, I wouldnt have said it nor told you to do your own google search.
