I had high hopes for one girl but she was so corrupted by her friends that I let her go. I am much more selective with whom I choose to be friends now then when I was younger. I do think today people are more shallow than ever before. 1

My guy friend only wanted girls with long hair and money. I can't stress that long hair thing enough. No matter how good she looked, if the hair wasn't right he would not do it. And she had to have money. He could get the girls but it never worked out. But there's actually another girl I know, my cousin. If a guy didn't even "look" like he had money and a ripped body she wouldn't give them a chance of day. But one day she met a guy who average. Had a job, no car, made okay money. Idk what it was but 2 yrs later they are still together.

They were already sleeping together before the wedding, so she knew what she was getting into and it wasn't going to be a marriage of love and great sex. It was going to be a marriage of nice houses, nice cars, pots of money in the bank and children who would be privately educated. This makes me sad for the human race. Both using each other for mutual gain...it's a hard pill to swallow. I don't even want to think what'll happen if the guy loses his job or doesn't have the same job to maintain the same lifestyle they both have.

That is because a man can't change whether or not he is short while a woman can change her hair. Women might be shallow in different ways but just as shallow. Also most of us thought he was out of his mind because she was a good woman.

I don't even want to think what'll happen if the guy loses his job or doesn't have the same job to maintain the same lifestyle they both have. They've saved enough so that they can live fairly comfortably for the rest of their lives and still be able to provide for their kids. However, they'd be at each other throats if they had to remain under the same roof day in and day out.

Hmm, that's the thing, the girl whom I'm friends with doesn't allow herself to become corrupted by the things that corrupt most. It really is rare to find a good female friend, who can think for herself and assess a situation. E.g (True story)- Her friends see an "attractive" (subjective) girl with an "unattractive" boy. They say "She is so out of his league". My friend says "Why? because she was born more conventionally attractive? why don't you take into account their levels of intellect". I swear, I fill up with pride every time I think about it. Didn't think women like this still existed
