Why cant u be with guys around your age? Um, like 20-25 instead of guys almost 40. Thats too old for u dont u see that? Thats why your father is after u for it 'cause u putting yourself in danger .

Also, crib may not be used a lot but most people know what it means so if you live in the US you must live in a bubble or something. That's just it... I don't live in the US. I'm a British citizen and as such, very often American slang is an anathema to me. It's probably my age..... I still use phrases like 'Tickety-Boo'....

We don't have all the details, but this is the impression I have, otherwise how does he get in the place, and how does the mother know, though I didn't think 'crib' applied when you still living with your parent (could easily be wrong here). I gather the OP has chatted to the mom about this guy (who's only a casual date so far) and the mom has mentioned it to the father, who now whats to talk her out of seeing this guy (kick her ass). I'm not sure I get what sort of advice the OP seeks here though. What's your mom think of you dating an older guy OP? BTW - Its not just older men that are players or dont have long term intentions....and on the flipside...OP, you don't have to go that old to find a guy with his **** together. You are so young, just look for a fun loving guy.

She dont have to date guys 17 like her but she should at least date a guy 20-23 or something right? I dont know and who cares right? anyways I was digging his style. told me pr girls are the best & how we so feisty and it turns him on. he also has his **** together so I dig him. we go out 2x. my father hits me up and wants to see me. let me say that me and my dad aint all that close and he tries to control me alot so I try to limit my time with him. so I told my father I had plans and cant see him. I actually went out with this guy and my mom told him when he called. he pops up at my crib ready to go rambo on me when I came home that night. he calls me a whore, a puta, a basura, I mean damn, really? anyways he been calling and texting me ever since to drop whoever I'm seeing cuz they aint good enough for me. how do u go from calling me all these nasty ass names to I'm better than the guys I wanna date? I ignore him and then he pops up again at my crib last night and he says he gonna kick my ass if I dont do as he say. he still think I'm a kid but I'm not and my mom only stops him from hitting me. thats it! my dad dont live with me ok. he lives in the bx but still acting like he do. Sounds like your dad wants to be the only boyfriend in your life. Next time he contacts you ask him out on a romantic candle lit dinner for two.

I know this might be alarming to some of you, but oh well. It is what it is anyway. With that, 21 remains the legal age to drink everywhere in the U.S. as it should be, because of obvious repercussions surrounding it. We don't need the law legalizing drinking teens, now do we?

Wow I think your age is showing, because most young people in their teens and 20s know what crib means, despite whatever kind of neighborhood they live in. Its common slang.
