I dont know and who cares right? anyways I was digging his style. told me pr girls are the best & how we so feisty and it turns him on. he also has his **** together so I dig him. we go out 2x. my father hits me up and wants to see me. let me say that me and my dad aint all that close and he tries to control me alot so I try to limit my time with him. so I told my father I had plans and cant see him. I actually went out with this guy and my mom told him when he called. he pops up at my crib ready to go rambo on me when I came home that night. he calls me a whore, a puta, a basura, I mean damn, really? anyways he been calling and texting me ever since to drop whoever I'm seeing cuz they aint good enough for me. how do u go from calling me all these nasty ass names to I'm better than the guys I wanna date? I ignore him and then he pops up again at my crib last night and he says he gonna kick my ass if I dont do as he say. he still think I'm a kid but I'm not and my mom only stops him from hitting me. thats it! my dad dont live with me ok. he lives in the bx but still acting like he do.

Reasons like this is why I'll never get serious with a Puerto Rican girl, other than the fact that I don't take women seriously anyway. Too much drama! The pr dad may be nuts. However, I suspect dad is upset because the guy she is dating is in the same age range as dad. Dad also knows this older guy is player telling her what she wants to hear. Dad could be right even if dad is an A hole.

And so what if he is? I'm 34 and messed with an 18 year old. While they're immature in many ways, they're horny as a mother, and don't hold back, unlike older women, from my experience. I think the OP's father is just a typical controlling nutjob and would be this way to his daughter regardless of who she dates. He can't help it!

He is a player, likely married, just out to try and woo a young woman. As far as your dad calling you names... well, if the shoe fits? Your father is likely only describing what you are acting like. If your mother thought it was a good idea, she probably would not have told your dad. Your father only wants something better for his little girl. Eventually a nice young man, a family, and a respectable daughter. I have a friend who married a man who is 20 yrs older than her and although she has stayed with him for 30 years, she is miserable. She is taking care of an old man. he is now 74. She has to make sure he eats and blah blah blah. It hasnt been a picnic. Have some respect for your parents, they only want whats best for you. From your other posts, it appears that the younger men who approached you didn't really attract you, possibly due to lack of confidence, yet this older man appears to "have his sh*t together" - certainly almost giving credence to the older man/younger woman theory . Interesting certainly...... I don't know how old you are OP, but I'm guessing your father has a somewhat legitimate concern. He's probably not handling it in the correct way, as fathers can tend to do, but I would probably think his worries aren't completely off kilter. How much do you know about this man? Either way, it's your call OP. You seem to like this man, so nothing anyone says is likely to sway you. Try to keep your eyes open though. 1

No father likes the idea of his daughter being a jizz dumpster for an older man. I'm guessing you're really young so in a sense your dad is right for thinking nothing good can come of this romance, on the other hand you're an adult and can do whatever you want. That is unless he pays for you still, if he does I would cut it off with the older guy.

The OP seems to prefer older, confident men. That's smart. This means to me that she'll have her **** together and will continue to attract the right kind of guys. The young girl I messed with talked the same way but she was still nice enough, just started playing games as usual and looked for validation elsewhere. At least the OP isn't doing that yet. If she's 17 or 18 she can do what she wants dating wise, especially if her father isn't even living with her, and according to her post, he lives in the Bronx someplace. But my experience with dating Hispanic women, young or old, their fathers are always trying to manipulate them, whether it be to date only Hispanic men or controlling what they can and cannot wear. Um...lots of young girls running around the streets today with their bodies exposed. Lots of old guys watching them & they like it .
