I read Winterpain's new thread, and I thought it would be interesting for others to share their first posts so we can see how far they've come. Thought this might be pretty 'inspiring" fr those just starting out :)

( sorry for copying your idea Winterpain, it just seemed like such a good one)

FS, where is Winterpain's new thread?

I always wondered whatever happened to him.

I can't find my first thread.....but I am doing :bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny:

Did it get deleted?

The earliest one from your profile is this:

My ridiculous thread is here: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/romantic/marriage-life-partnerships/infidelity/314134-boundary-setting-question

which isn't really very old at all.

WW moves out on Sunday, my mother arrives the same day. We've done most of the mediation at this point..just some last pieces to get into place. We have yet to officially file...

Well...here is mine.

Long time ago indeed.

Odd, but the man who wrote seems a complete stranger to me. I read my own post thinking of all the mistakes that guy was making. Proud I guess at far I've come, learned and grown.

As for now, well yes FS...there is a happy ending as I am happily married to a great woman with a new 8 month old daughter. I completely rebuilt myself and my life.

Its awesome :)

when i read my first post, i realize just what a mess i was...i was just desperate for someone, anyone to tell me things would be okay.at the time, if someone had told me that they'd work out for the best, i don't know if i would have believed them...

interesting to see that, for the most part, things have worked out for us...maybe this will bring hope to new users...whether you reconcile or split up, things can and do get better :)

It may have been deleted in the first great crash.

Mine were. Just as well because one was something like "I wish my wife was dead" (referring to my now-ex-wife). I couldn't imagine back then that divorce plus kids finishing school was really all that was necessary to free me of her forever. When you're mired in the depths of a deeply unhappy situation you don't realise how close happiness can be.

Well done to all who've overcome their desperate unhappiness and found their resolution, and hopefully their joy.
