steelgator Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 So i was dumped because she's hurt from me arguing with her too much and we constantly break up with eachother only to come back. This girl is crazy about me said I'm different than every guy she's dated and cried for weeks and begged after our longest break up, til i took her back. This time she said she just wants to be friends when I return to school in the fall. But said don't worry you're going to be a part of my life. I keep asking if there's a chance and I will be friends, but instead of a yes or no she just begs to be friends. She said I make her anxious and upset when i ask for more(she has a big anxiety problem, takes meds and thinks everyone wants to hurt her, told me herself), and doesn't want to talk to me anymore. Anyways when I finally agree she said "I'll be your friend, but not yet. You hurt me too much yet." So should I stay in the game?

If you want to make it work you need to set some boundaries and have a conversation with her about what you aren't willing to accept anymore. 1

She gets so angry when I say anything about any other girl, even some victoria's secret model poster. And was scared ****less about me hooking up with other girls this summer since we're seperated from may til august, and made it clear she doesn't want anything between us for summer. She didn't rule out friends with benefits in the fall just saying she doesn't know what the future holds. But that I needed to relax and that I'll still be a part of her life. But she's very strong headed and last time i texted her she's still mad and hurt and doesn't want to talk to me anymore, because I always bring up what's between us and it just makes her anxious.

Maybe I got the timeline wrong, but if she broke up with you and can't take this drama anymore, then why would she be upset if you date around during the summer? I already know the answer, which is the classic cake eating set up. She wants to be with you on her terms. When its convenient for her, you're the best thing out there, but when you get too close to her she wants to break it off. So, she doesn't want a serious relationship with you yet she doesn't want you to date around. I think you know the answer to this situation and you know what must be done.
Author steelgator Posted June 29, 2012 Author Posted June 29, 2012 when i took her back before we left for summer break she said she was scared about me and other girls. she mentioned something to her mom on the phone about having her guard up and we were gonna take things slow and go day by day and lets things naturally happen. A week in i surprise visit, she already made plans with her girlfriends and stopped by my frat house to say hi but left. I bitched her out drunk and that's when she broke up with me and did the whole we're better off just being friends now. But I'm still gonna be a part of her life. I love her so much but I don't know if i can stand it if another guy comes in, and I think she would feel the same about another girl. But every time i try and talk more about it she doesn't wanna talk about it anymore and gets mad.
