Don't know. Not enough information. How was the separation? How are you now? How old are you two? What do you want from it?

 

Got to go slow and make sure both parties are in the same place. Otherwise, you get burned, she gets burned, you both do. So proceed sloooowly. That way you can have a position of saving face when she tells you she has some fantastic boyfriend and you are alone.

 

I contacted an ex recently. Saw her where she works. Emailed back and forth some. I feel absolutely NOTHING romantically towards her. I could literally hang out with her at a ballgame and be fine if some guy hit on her and she gave him her number sitting there beside me.

 

But I don't think she is in that same place.

Yeah, what was your intention when you contacted her in the first place? I imagine you wanted to start a conversation? Do you want her back romantically or as a friend?
