henderson14 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) I packed up and moved to another large city after graduation. During my time I have made friends there, but it is a very transient city and most of them have eventually left and moved close to home again. I really only have a few close friends here and the rest are back in my home state. She on the other hand grew up here and has a lot of friends from the state college and home and I am worried about looking like a loser or something. A lot of them seem to be single and go out all the time. It kind of scares me away from some relationships because I don't want to reveal it and look bad. Edited June 28, 2012 by henderson14
RedRobin Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 It's ok. You just need to make time to rebuild your friend network. As long as you seem like a person who can make and keep friends... that's the important part... I mean, if you feel the need to compare. I have friends spread all over the US, and a few overseas. You have to make time to stay connected. You visit them... they visit you (hopefully). Calls, emails, Xmas cards.... just make sure to stay in touch. It is a transient world we live in these days... for alot of people.
