CarrieT Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Depends entirely on where you live; in the Bay Area of California, Plenty of Fish gets way more use than OKCupid, which is more popular in Los Angeles. I had much better luck on sex sites (yes, looking for a "real" relationship where that issue was dealt with and talked about up front), than I did regular dating sites.

You mean like AdultFriendFinder, Fetlife, etc? I admit, that is one avenue I have not explored...
truth_seeker Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Best old.....? To each their own but I would say you're better off with paid website then free ones.
FitChick Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 People tend to migrate from one site to the next so it really depends. Have a look at the members and see which sites have your sort of person. There are more and more niche sites springing up so you could meet someone with similar interests.

Yes, I tried AFF but found my current BF on CollarMe and learned he was on FetLife. It was easier for us to have those aspects of our interests met immediately and then to connect deeper on the philosophical, musical, political, etc...
