El Brujo Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 One of the reasons I stopped doing speed dating 7 years ago is because I got tired of sitting across the table from grinning ditzes who asked me "are you having FUN?" (no, Miss Ditz, if I was having fun, I'd be making things). These FUN-oriented people sound like a bunch of kindergarteners. Getting drunk on bad-tasting alcoholic beverages is not my idea of fun. It taught me how shallow the bar crowd really is. But then, the conventional wisdom dictates that we're failures and we can't cut the mustard if we don't like to go to bars... 1
