Part 1

Ok so at work, there is a girl (Pam) that I have been interested in for about a year now. We have hung out once outside of work last summer, but nothing really came out of it and also I was unsure if I wanted to tell her how I felt...but I felt like it is possible that she liked me. She only works the summer and winter breaks because she goes to college, so she's back now.

Part 2

A few months ago, a different girl (Erin) at work, confesses she has a crush on me, and we have been on a few dates, but I'm still not sure if I like her yet...I mean it's been like 4 or 5 dates...so I'm pretty sure that I'm not that into her...BUT I think she is a great person...

SO, I want to tell Pam that I'm interested in her but I'm not sure how to go about doing this...should I break things off with Erin first?...I'm thinking that would be the honorable thing to do...also I don't want any rumors going around that I am a scumbag...(Since they talk to each other at work, Pam and Erin could potentially spill the beans on me, if I am hiding something from either one of them.)

So my question is, I want to date Pam, but what is the best way to go about this? There are a few options...most of which involves me losing both girls LOL. SO, if I start by telling Erin that I don't want to date her, should I also tell her I'm into Pam??? What if Pam doesn't like me?? Then I've lost both of them. Idk I'm confused. I could also bo behind Erin's back and tell Pam that I'm interested in her...but I don't see that ending well...Help?

You needn't say there is someone else. But you do need to let the one you're dating down as you've said you don't feel the way you need to about her.

After that you're single and free to pursue anyone you wish.
