seachangeoflove Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Men and women have to realize how severely they are being brainwashed and unplug, start thinking for themselves, get back to the natural act of just being human beings. If we can all do a better job of that, things will get better. that is what seperates the wheat from the chaff....if I meet a guy (or even a woman) you know pretty quick if they are a follower or on their own path. when I meet a guy who's brainwashed by society and media I don't get mad thinking "MEN ARE SUCH SHALLOW JERKS" no, I feel bad for them that they will live a vauleless life dictated by the media and know they are not the person for me and I move on. no sweat off my back. Ive met plenty of people who call me unconventional or make fun of me for being different. ( i don't even own a tv) but you know what? That''s their right to think that way and I am not the girl for them and move on. see how hard that is?! dont look to others for acceptance. Be who you want to be and fuvk everyone else. So watch porn, don't watch porn.
ThaWholigan Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Hah, I haven't watched a porno in weeks (bar the sex ed programs if they count ). Notice that I have been much more engaged outside since . Not saying porn is bad, just saying watching it too much does change your reality quite a lot and not necessarily for the better. And I like porn, so if I'm saying it .... 1
Ruby Slippers Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 see how hard that is?! dont look to others for acceptance. Be who you want to be and fuvk everyone else. So watch porn, don't watch porn. I agree with you for the most part, but don't share your "**** everyone else" view. I don't judge or criticize people for watching porn. But if I saw a person eating junk food every day and getting fat and ruining their health, I would offer them a healthy meal if I could. They are free to reject it - but I believe it's still important to offer an alternative in a compassionate way. For me, this feels like a responsibility of being human, one that I am happy to accept. I would want them to do the same for me if I was hurting myself.
NXS Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I am male. Of course I'm not saying that women are perfect, but that doesn't excuse you for being a ****ty man (generally speaking). If only I had a time machine, I could show you a different era of men. Men that'd make you question yourself. There's a lot to be learnt from history and I don't reject such a fantastic teacher. Be all the man you can be, charisma and confidence are contagious and the woman you eventually find, will love you for it. But that was the time of the evil patriarchy.
seachangeoflove Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 When women start showing empathy for men's concerns and the issues we deal with in relationships is when I will start being concerned about porn. I really do get why women have an issue with porn and I don't blame but many men also have legitimate issues yet women don't seem to care so why should I care about porn? how do "women" as a collective whole show empathy? and frankly why should we? Have your porn.

Ruby Slippers Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I don't judge people either but you can only help those who want it. the road to hell..... I hear you. But let's say your brother is a drug addict. He might not admit he wants help. But once he gets it and gets his life clean, he'll be very glad he did. You can't force people to do things - but you can inspire them to rise to their higher nature. I make a habit of it. It may sound lofty, but I think it's a big part of my purpose in life. 2
