okay..here's the deal..

 

i broke up with my boyfriend of four years one week ago..we have seen each other once since. last year our realtionship was a little rocky and he had broken up with me...and a couple days later was "hanging" with some other girl...and i got drunk at a party and ended up with his good friend (although he was my friend to, but more my bf's).....regardless this all hurt both of us veyr much, but we got back together about a month later and worked things out.....

right now we are in the No contact phase, on my terms.. however his friend that i hooked up with, is home for two days.. (he's in the military), and he is leaving to go to Iraq monday morning. i haven't seen him since this all happened over a year ago, and because he is my friend too, i do want to see him, and there is always a chance taht he might not come back from iraq .

 

i asked my ex if he would care if i went to the party, and he was just silent. i know it would really bother him, especially because we are not together anymore..but i am not going to go to the party with intentions of hooking up with his friend again, hell, i'm not even going to be drinking, i just want to be able to see him before he goes.

 

however, the no contact thing is also my idea, and i would be breaking this if i did go to the party tomorrow night.

 

any feedback would be greatly apprecaiated. thank you

is there any way you could simply call this person going to iraq?or even meet him for coffee or something?

if you are still hoping to get back together with the other person its going to add to his thinking you still have feelings for his friend.. some guys cant deal with those sorts of feelings..
