Hey everyone this is my first post,

In fact I joined this site just now just to get some peoples opinions on this situation that left me pretty pissed off haha.

So I have been dating this girl recently who I have known for over a year, we have been on about 4-5 dates since we decided we liked each other about a month ago and all has gone well during those times. BUT...

She doesn't want anything to do with intimacy, I've been pushed away on kisses after what seemed like great dates and I have received very very unromantic text messages saying things like "Is that okay if I say no to sex if we start a relationship" or she asks things like "is this official" .... These unfathomably shallow messages are such a turn off in a way I cant even seem to pin-point.

She is a late comer to dating as I would be her first boyfriend and she is a virgin, but I dont even know what to say on these text messages... When she asks "Is this official" thats such a black and white thing for a man to answer, If I say YES than I am committed to a relationship, If I say NO she would probably hate me... UGHH!! And when she asks "can we hold off on sex if we start a relationship" IN A TEXT MESSAGE??!?! the fact that she sent that disgusted me to be honest....

Can you call it a boyfriend girlfriend relationship if there is no kissing, touching or sexuality involved ?? or it just friendship??

I really dont know what I am trying to get out of the people on this site, but can someone try and clarify this situation for me or give some advice that would be much appreciated

PS sorry for the poor writing

Thanks in advance !!

Find out if she was ever molested, is very religious or is waiting to get married for sex. The fact that she already knew you for a year, even though you didn't date, should make her feel comfortable with you by now.
