How weird to contact some one in this scenario?

I met a girl online a few months ago. We went on a few dates - the last one she showed me her new apartment, and said, "next time you see it, it will be better". For some reason we just split ways...I haven't seen her or contacted her since - exception being maybe a short message immediately after that last meeting (I don't remember). Presumably suggestive of my interezt level.

Anyhow - she's recently been checking out my online profile - would it be weird to send her a message to see how she's doing...more out of curiosity than anything else? People's opinions would be great. Thanks!

If you're not that interested, why bother?

Fair question - I don't really know why I'm tempted to write. Part of me says curiosity. But that begs the question of why I'm curious. I wonder if part of me is thinking that I should have followed up with her a bit more following our last date about 2 months ago.

Sometimes it's good to think through things a bit. So I guess that splits this into two questions:

1. If it is curiosity for curiosity's sake, is contacting her weird/creepy?

2. If it's I think I should have followed up with her previously - i.e. I may want to see her again - weird/creepy?

I'm not sure which it is...but I would probably allude to curiosity in the letter if I wrote one.

Thoughts are awesome - I'm just curious how it would be perceived. What would she think if she got a letter simply asking her how she was doing?

Doing something indirect like checking out your profile can be a woman's way of saying she wants you to contact her, so it wouldn't be creepy at all. Go for it if you want to.

It really depends how you left off. As long as you didn't do anything creepy before, then there's nothing wrong with it.
