luvinthesun Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I do.lots of thongs my Bf likes to do... Or more aimed toward him. Like car show after car show... His movies... Where he wants to eat. I think he has watchef three semi chic flicks on DVD during our relationship. It seems lately... A given that he won't do anythig I ask about. I have a pool and he refuses to swim with me or me and my toddler. It bothers me. Says swimming in others skon in nasty... And trust me... He lets his pets eat off dinner plates... Nasty to me. I guess i can either not do "his" stuff ...r just proceed to "my" stuff alone. I guess... I thpught... When u r in a relatiobship... U do step out and do things for ur mate.
boytoy Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I had that happen to me a long time ago with a girlfriend. I tried every which way to explain it to myself, to rationalize it, and to change it. However, it never got better, and eventually caused us to break up. After we broke up, and I since spent time reflecting over it, I realized why she refused to go out of her comfort zone for me as much as I went out of mine for her: she was just not THAT into me. She was into me enough to be my girlfriend, to do things she wants to do with me, to sleep with me, laugh with me, and foresake other men, etc. However, she was not into me enough to go out of her comfort zone in terms of activities. I'm sure that once she finds a guy she likes enough, she WILL do those very same things if he wants her to. Its a tough realization, but I've since come to terms with it. My guess is that the same is true for you. Don't make the same mistake I made. Don't hang around hoping to fix this. He's into you, but just not THAT into you. Find a man who is, as it is unlikely that this guy will suddenly fall in love with you enough to give you the life you deserve. Good luck, and I wish you the best.
