henderson14 Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Here's my deal. At parties or at bars I can very easily approach women and talk to them, and usually am successful at it (even sober). I really have no fear and it feels completely natural to me. But I find it so hard to approach women randomly at public places like gyms and grocery stores. It just feels so awkward to me. Maybe its because I'm alone. Is this normal?

Parties and bars are different social settings then gyms and grocery stores. Although, I am not much of a bar person so I would acutally kind of like it if guys were more friendly at the gym or grocery store.
yongyong Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Don't worry. a lot of guys can't even approach women at the bar. It's easier to approach them in those places since that's understood behavior. I am in the same shoes. I have no problem hitting on 10 women at the bar. but I can't do it in public places. I am working on it though since meeting someone in public places have more potentials...

What do you do to make yourself approachable at the gym/grocery store?
