Okay,

Not sure where this came around, but every so often I hear how women will attempt to feminize men in a humiliation process of sorts.

Recently, for a Ladies Night event at a local bar, on FB our social circle said something about Ladies night that night, and a guy said "Maybe we should wear dresses so we can get free drinks!"

Well a woman came up with an idea if they DO show up in dresses, and who ever is considered "best dressed" the winner, she'd pay their tab.

Now, I can understand presenting a challenge of sorts, but why is this challenge always involve a straight man doing female related activities?

LOL because men are all too willing to do it. We call them "nice guys".

That just sounds fun.

Some women get off on that. One girl I dated brought up bringing that into the bedroom, described the mix between male/female and the humiliation a turn on. I bet the best dressed winner could get more from that girl then just his tab paid.

This behaviour seems common for certain guys, such as frat boys, sports team members and military. I don't think they necessarily do it to impress women but it's more about male-bonding and is a test of group membership. Guys have to prove that they're able to take a joke and make fools of themselves to show that they're a teamplayer and don't take themselves too seriously.

I think the woman who said she'd pay their tab was incidental to the proceedings.

I think it could be fun - imagine going out with your frat buddies...you may think it's feminizing, but in reality, it's just giving guys a good excuse to rip on the classic female stereotypes - if anything, I would actually expect a lot of women to be insulted by this.

Moreover, this kind of act essentially tells the world that you're confident and that you like to have a good time, and don't care to much what others think about you (essentially the confidence thing)...I think a lot of women would like that.

Yea, this thread immediately reminded me of the Red Dress Run in DC...or Cupid's Undie Run...just a fun time is all...
