baseballgirl Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Hi, I just wanted to share my story and hope someone could tell me what you think may be going on with my ex. being in a one and a half year relationship, there were many good and equally bad times. he loved me, pampered me and stayed with me to finish up my work and he would cook for me and spend his weekends with me most of the time. during our fights, when times get real bad, he would never admit his mistakes. eventhough sometimes my intentions were good, (for instance cooking dinner for him without asking him if he wanted me to), we had a big arguement after that as he said i ruined his plans to meet his friends. Im not sure what has got into him but on my side, it was nasty and cruel to say such things. yet i believe until today he thinks most of the fights were my fault when my initial intentions were good. what hurts me is that he used to be caring and protective towards my feelings, but he broke up with me one week beforr my exams without considering the fact that it might affect me. i never called him until he text me for somethig he wants from me. i was still in the midst of my exams and it made me so hard to stay focus and to cope with the breakup at the same time. the person he is now is mean, insensitive and cold. I'd blame a game he has recently been addicted to, but the drastic change is very hard for me to accept. no doubt this relationship is over. it feels awful that someone who had been right next to you cant even have a proper conversation with you without putting up a fight. for some reasons i may not be able to avoid seeing him. but i just wonde why he hates me? we just cant talk, not even like friends anymore, as soon as i saysomething he starts yelling aat me which is not the person i know anymore and i feel terrible.. why is he doing that?
Philosoraptor Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I wouldn't say he hates you, but breaking up hurts everyone involved. He's likely going through a lot of the same emotions that you are and anger is just one step of the process.
