I decided to stop dating him because he was going to grad school and I would barely see him. He's recently made contact again and wants to get together sometime. He's been working out of town and he suggested I come visit him for a weekend and stay with him. We've been flirty back and forth and so on. I kinda wanna date him again. Anyway, today is his birthday and I sent him a "Hey happy birthday!" and he replied with "Oh wow. You remembered my birthday? Thank you :)" I dont know if he meant that as "Oh wow you stalker. Thanks" Should I reply to him?

I thought it might be funny since we had joked about that before. I replied with "You're welcome . Now..about that spanking. I know someone that can do it." 1
