markg Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Hi All, I am really cut up after my break up we were together for 8 years and have 2 beautiful kids together and although we banter alittle the relationship was great in my eyes and then one day she wants to have some space which ofcourse I didn't agree to at first because of being away from my babies but after alot of reluctance I left and saw the kids every other day and then 4 days later I decided to check up on her basically and I caught a guy 16 years older than her being there and she admitted to meeting him in a park and they had been texting frequently and he had stayed the night (yes my kids woke to find a strange man there) I confronted her further and I said he was not to be around my children which was hard to get through to her but now she's stopping me seeing the kids because of this (paying for legal advice) but I don't hear from her and I try to resist calling her and tell her my feelings and also to see how the kids are. Your opinions on what I should do and what she will be thinking appreciated.
Philosoraptor Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Right now all you can do is take care of what you do have control over. It's good you're getting legal advice so put that into action. Make sure no matter what happens you have as much time as possible with your children. They are what's most important right now and your ex isn't helping them at all by having a new man in their lives already.
