El Brujo Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 There really isn't anything ambiguous about the title of this thread... no hidden meanings, any of that. If you still don't understand what I mean, consider these examples: 1. A man wants sex and doesn't get any: that's OK, because it makes him good pick-on material. Feel free to taunt him and drive him to suicide for all I care. But if a man doesn't WANT any? He's breaking the rules. 2. A woman is tired of being a wallflower, so she starts cold-approaching guys she thinks look cute. She's breaking the rules. 3. A man and woman meet and hit it off, but there's not a drop of alcohol in sight. They're breaking the rules. Even those of us who are hardcore, freethinking individuals who pretty much do things the way we want to, all toe the mark when it comes to anyone breaking the rules of dating. We hate them for it, and we feel it serves them right when they try to do things differently and end up not getting the girl (or guy). Even the old rule of playing hard-to-get went out with a lot of kicking and screaming.
