Recently, I have blocked my ex on all accounts after a nasty split between us (sleeping with multiple guys, lying, leading me along). However, we work at the same building. She moved home to work in the area where I am, so I've already been with this place for a while.

Since our split, I go into work with a terrible attitude. I see her car in the lot and I get angry immediately. When I leave work, I have to wait until she leaves first or hurry so I can walk out without having to see her. I simply don't want to near this person. (She works across the way from me, so I don't work WITH her. I just see her from afar sometimes).

Recently, I applied elsewhere and got the job. I was relieved to work someplace else until I started to think some more... do I want to leave my current job over this person? I've been here for a while. Everyone likes me. I would be taking a (small) paycut at the other job and learning an entire new system.

Should I stay or should I go?

Dont sell yourself short & give her the satisfaction. Why not just be civil and FOCUS on you & your work. Who knows, maybe youll get promoted and have your own office soon!

It would be pretty dumb to quit your job simply because your ex works in the same building.

That's what was weighing on my mind the most. I just got off the phone with them and told them I declined my other job, so there is no need to take me off the list. Done and done.

You've made the right choice.
