Mr Scorpio Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 (edited) So I woke up today and checked my e-mail only to see a status update of my ex sent from facebook. I haven't logged onto FB in well over a year, almost two years at this point. Over that period, I'd receive notice of invites (either to be friends or to events), which was fine because I could read the event invites w/o having to log-in. But now I'm getting status updates? What is this? Some sort of progressive trickle where the site sends me more and more stuff? I marked the updates I received as junk, but I dont want event invites to be considered junk, because I often attend those events. Does anyone have any idea how I can exclude the status updates from being sent to me w/o blocking everything? Edited June 18, 2012 by Mr Scorpio
CopingGal Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Okay I understand a little bit more. Someone else and myself didn't understand the other post you put in the other thread. If you de-friend her, you shouldn't get her status updates. But maybe you should just delete your account. I am biased when it comes to facebook. I deleted it to make my life better and more simpler.
SincereOnlineGuy Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Fighting Facebook That isn't "Fighting Facebook". Fighting Facebook is when Facebook mandates that Ahmed Rushdie use his full first & last names on the site, presumably like everybody else, and this prompts Mr. Rushdie to protest that nobody knows who in the **** he is that way. Finally the idiots at Facebook relent and allow him to be known as Salman Rushdie.
