Would you presume this girl is at least a little interested in me?

You know, I'm here a lot, and my stories always start off the same way, I know a girl through work, and I'm speculative towards a prospect of dating her. Though, it always seems as if the situation is never quite the same, that it warrants a thread of it's own. Maybe I just like relating my current affairs to others. It always helps to have somebody listen, even if they don't respond.

This one is a stunning girl I've been acquainted with for maybe a year and a half, we first met when she was in Grade 11. I work as a cashier at the Tim Hortons in my local mall, there's a high school just a block away and a lot of the students head over to my store for lunch everyday.

Anyway, this girl and her two girlfriends were always among the usual mass of students, I usually ended up serving them and they grew to like me. It's a common occurrence, I'm pretty good at my job, so naturally people prefer being served by me. I'm well liked, but it seems this particular trio of girls REALLY like me. We eventually exchanged names by their insistence, being polite, I took the effort to remember their names. After this they started showing up even more, after school, on their days off and everything, they would even show up just to say hi at times.

Eventually it started becoming apparent to me that one girl in particular is the reason why they're always visiting me. The other two appear to be talkative types, but it's always just one girl among them that does most of the talking during our visits. I've always pondered exactly what was up with her, at first I thought they were maybe mocking me in some sort of way, but as we started to become more familiar with each other, I came to doubt that.

Anyway, fast-forward to today, she came by to see me in the morning, informing me that she just got a job at one of the clothing stores in the mall, and that we would be seeing each other a lot more from now on. I mentioned that her boss had personally invited me to work over there instead if I wanted. I recall her eyes just lighting up, excitement, she said I should definitely jump ship. Maybe I'm just sprucing up my memory of today, but it seemed she had trouble containing herself when I brought up the possibility of being co-workers.

I'm just not sure what she's looking for here, maybe she wants to be my friend, maybe she wants more than that, it could honestly go either way I think. I just remember thinking how the fact that she's out of high school as of this week suddenly made me start seriously considering her. I'll admit, I've had more than a few little fantasies involving her, but there was always that barrier, did I want to date a high school girl? She's on the young side for me, I'm 24, she's 18 now I believe, but I don't see that stopping me.

EDIT: I know her first name, where she went to school, and what year she graduated in, I'm hoping I can find her facebook with that information. If I see no reltionship indicator, I'm making a move.

Are you interested in her? If so then ask. Heck even if someone is showing no interest in you it never hurts to ask. Worst you can do is be turned down so it's not that bad.
