truffelo Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Hello, so to make a long story short: i'm 25, she's 24. We're close friends and I allready told her I have feelings for her. So when I first told she said she didn't had feelings and she didn't had the space in her head to think about it. But this week (one week later) she started to look for a lot of contact again. One of the things she said was that she felt like she was missing someone to share everything with,...Then she asked how i felt and i said there was this girl in my head i wanted to take care off and make her happy and that i was sure i was able to make her happy but that I didn't want to overwhelm her because i was afraid it would frighten her. She said that it had to be a very strange girl to not want that. ok, this was confusing Do you think writing a love letter is childish?
SarahRose Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 It sounds to me like she isn't interested in your as a boyfriend but likes the attention from you. I would just not talk to her anymore. You don't want to be used.
Author truffelo Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 main question is: is writing a love letter childish?
Philosoraptor Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 It's not childish but it's definitely something to hold until later in a relationship.
carhill Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Young ladies are very perceptive... One of the things she said was that she felt like she was missing someone to share everything with and She said that it had to be a very strange girl to not want that. = tampon alert. The first response was the most accurate one: So when I first told she said she didn't <have> feelings and she didn't <have> the space in her head to think about it. IMO, no love letters for this one.
TaraMaiden Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I think you have to be careful with love letters. it's a bit like a girl giving a guy racy/sexy pictures of herself. Seems perfectly reasonable and justified at the time, but as, when, and if things go sour, it really feels like "Why the hell did I do something this dumb - ?!?"
