packersgirl Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 Ok, here's what happened. Nothing too major, but I need to know if my way of thinking is on the right path... A few of my friends went bowling tonight, including the guy I'm interested in. I was in the middle of watching a movie at home when I was told about this. So, since I was caught in the middle of the movie, I declined the invitation and decided to spend the remainder of the evening home alone. About an hour after I was told, I received a text message from the guy I'm interested in asking me why I didn't come bowling. I told him I was in the middle of a movie at the time I was told about it. His responce was a simple "Oh ok"... Only then did I realize what may have just occured in his mind. I realized that he may have thought that the movie was more important to me then being around him tonight... which, of course, is not at all true. If I had known for sure that he definantly going, I would've been there in a heart beat. Now, with me thinking that he may be thinking that I didn't care enough about him to get up off my lazy butt to go hang out with him tonight, what should I do to fix it? Well, I guess I should be asking myself if guys really do think like that, and if they do, then how seriously did I just stall my chances here? Any and all suggestions about my stupidity and what I can do to undo it are welcomed... ya'll are the best! Thanks for just reading this! =) - PG

But I'm sure he appreciates a girl who won't drop everything in her life to go running at every sing he makes. If you felt like seeing the movie, you felt like seeing the movie. Even if let's say you were previously announced. I like what you did. LEt him figure you out !
Oroborus Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 You said you are interested in this guy, so I would explain honestly my reasons for not going and that I felt that he may have got the wrong impression................that sounds like suck-holeing.............Is he the type of guy who appreciates a bit of a laugh?
