kye1987 Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 (edited) So there is this guy that I've been sort of friends for a while but we've recently started flirting. He works at the coffee shop I go to a lot so I see him at least several times a week. The first couple months he worked there we would make casual conversation like, “ how are you?” … “ what kind of latte do you want today?” He would always flirt with his co-worker right in front of me almost as though he was trying to make me jealous or something, but I was unaware of the fact that I liked him at the time. Then one day I was in there studying when he walked by my table. My eyes shot up and he looked me straight in the eyes for longer than one normally does. After that, I would go in and get my coffee and he would always try to get me to smile or laugh. He had a month off of work and just recently came back. Ever since he got back he's been a little more friendly, like maybe he's trying to get closer to me. He leans in a lot of the time, talks in a lower voice, and very rarely turns his back to me. He's shared his food with me, remembered my favorite latte, and teases me a lot playfully. The other night when he was mopping and I walked in he told me not to slip and fall in a sweet and sort of teasing way. He's quite flirting with the other girl and has started flirting with me a lot more, frequently wearing a ear to ear smile. I've watched him around his friends, co-workers, and other customers ( women around my age) and he definitely treats me differently. So does he like me or is he just being my friend? Philosoraptor Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Sounds like he does have a bit more than friendly feelings for you. Ask him out if you're interested, worst you can do is get rejected and it's not that bad.
