If you want a worthy Man/Woman strive to become worthy yourself. Discuss? Because everybody wants the best they can get. An average woman is not going to look at an average guy and be like, "Oooh. Hot." She's going to lust after something a notch above her and over. It's human nature to want the next best thing. I actually think this phenomena that you describe is the #1 cause of people being unable to find someone to be in a relationship with. People refuse to date someone who has exactly what they have. They think they are better.

mortensorchid Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 THere are some people, looks aside, who have Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I have encountered this in my work and personal life. The irony is that they think they can do and say whatever it is that they want because they are somehow special or entitled when they are anything but. I had a coworker years ago who was one of the most arrogant people I have ever encountered. In staff meetings she would make it all about her, telling others about what credentials she had, how her children were successes, and how we should and shouldn't be doing things. She actually said to me once "I'm not used to this." "Not used to what?" "I'm not used to being in a situation where my opinion doesn't matter." I almost couldn't believe that someone said that. THe greatest irony about her was the fact that she was arrogant and yet had nothing to back it up with. She was actually not the smartest person I'd ever encountered, and until I was moved near her desk I had no idea that she was spending the whole day on personal calls. Until I ratted on her and got her ousted. Ha ha ha ...

Since you are not their Prince/Princesss Charming, then it is no surprise that you consider them unworthy and average. We don't have to be considered worthy by everyone, to find an SO. We just need one person who we consider to be worthy, to consider us worthy too. 2
