Starting over with fiance but he may have to move soon. What should I do?

Hey I need some help here and would appreciate all I can get. My fiance and I have been split up for about a month. For the last few days he has been incredibly sweet. He has been doing things he hasnt done in a long time. We have been working through our problems. I know he loves me thats not the problem. The problem is he told me today that he may have to move 3 hours away. We talked about it and he told me to look up apartments for him but that he doesnt know what he is going to do yet. I dont know what to do or say if he decides to move. I know that I dont want to end the relationship. I dont know if we can handle that much of a distance with just starting over. I could any and all advice you can give please.

Does he have to move for work or is he choosing to move?

It was because his grandparents are ill and someone needs to be closer to them. He told me today when he was over that he isnt going to though.
