DuchessKaye Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 So you have a friend, you share your time with, your confessions, good laugh, holidays and you regularly have sex with him. While a boyfriend is a friend, with whom you share time, confessions, good laugh, holidays, and you regularly have sex with him. Ok, that is so clear to me now. People have issues!
january2011 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Hmm, not quite for me. I don't have sex with people I'm just friends with. And I don't even get to see my SO on a regular basis (LDR) - but he's still my SO.
carhill Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Sounds like a labeling issue. How would you prefer the labels to work, OP? For simplicity: Friend Lover Boyfriend Life Partner/Spouse ?
Author DuchessKaye Posted June 16, 2012 Author Posted June 16, 2012 I'm sorry for the rant. I was talking about that fvking friends with benefits, kinda thing...
utterer of lies Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I'm sorry for the rant. I was talking about that fvking friends with benefits, kinda thing... The important difference is that in general, fwb does not imply exclusivity.
