Hey guys!

I just did a crazy thing...

Was on my way home from work when a guy drove past me and did a double-take. He made a left turn so he could turn back around in the direction I was headed, then had to do another turn to face towards me as I was walking by. I thought to myself "do I know this person?", so I started to approach the car, but stopped when I realized I didn't know who the hell that is! anyways, he offered me a ride and I thought "typical" so just said no thank you and kept walking. Well, 2 blocks more and I see him pull to the side again and actually get out of the car. This was now creeping me out....

He walked towards me, apologized, said he has never ever done this, but when he saw me he just had to get to know me:rolleyes:

I keep walking, and he decides to walk along with me, making fun of himself for being such a creeper and apologizing and telling me how gorgeous I am and that he just could not help himself. Before I even realized, he had me cracking up! Said he loved that I was smiling because of him and again offered me a lift. I declined again and then he asked if he could walk with me... said I didn't have to talk to him if I didn't want to, but that he wanted to be by my side even if it was just for a short time and never saw me again. He kept cracking jokes and I couldn't help but laugh.

Anyways, I decided to give him my number :D I'm taking a chance! I never ever give out my number to random dudes cause experience has taught me better... I guess I'll see if this turns out to be a big fail or not.

I decided to share this because I hear so many LS men complain about how women never give them the time of day and how it's dam near impossible to get a woman's number if you are not in the right setting (through a friend or at a singles scene).

He is walking back to his car, going home to shower, then calling me to take me out to dinner. We will see how this goes... wish me luck!

He could be genuine and this could turn into something but at the same time it could be a set up. A lot of my friends are manwhores and this is kinda like some of their tactics to get with girls. Like I said before this could be something genuine and if it does work out then you have an awesome "how I met so and so" story to tell later on :)

Wow! Good luck girl!

Now THATS a man :D

Purely speculation, regardless be safe OP.

How is that desperate? He chased her, she agreed. I see no desperation there.

Really? Too me it reeks of it. Appears we disagree. Oh well.

Edit, read the title a few more times.

If anyone were to look desperate in this story, it'd be the guy chasing the girl all around town. But seriously why the need to rain on OPs parade? Let her have her fun, geez.

Ah alas the night in shining armor with balls of steel that many of the ls women talk about shows up! He just screwed us men over by raisin the bar too high. No longer will the bar approach be good enough, we'll have to jump out of our cars lol.

Ok, I apolog[ize for rainning on the OP's party. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll return the favor the next time I see you doing the same with one of your posts.

Good luck and have fun!

He's never done it but was so cool, calm and collective that he could make you laugh and ask you out. Sure he's never done it!!!

A guy approached me like this one time. On our first "date" (lunch at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant), he asked me to lend him $3,000! Be careful, and whatever you do, don't give him your home address.

Hope things go better for you.

Good luck!

He sounds awesome, but then again I hope he hasn't murdered you by now. If you are still alive, tell us about it!

Guy sounds like a total douchebag, the OP sounds like a douchebag target.

I shake my head that any woman would fall for this.

I guess you can't say "never ever" any more, can you?

I hope it works out well for her, but this was my thinking, too...

This guy is too smooth to be someone genuine.

Just be careful.

Just have some fun with it OP, ignore the fuddy duddys here. I trust your abilities to work him out if you end up having a date with him.

You're just mad all your creepy stuff gets restraining orders instead of dates. Really wanting to be around a woman and not being needy can work wonders. He was probably decent looking as well.

The guy comes across as totally creepy and a weirdo to me. But I get the impression that this kind of thing is totally normal behaviour in America.

If you imagine the scenario without him laughing, smiling, or joking, it takes on a whole different vibe doesn't it?

He was confident, aggressive, sure of what he wanted and had a good sense of humor. That kind of guy is not that normal in America unfortunately for women. The lame, jealous, whiny and passive ones are in much greater abundance.
