ThaWholigan Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 BS. I think it's much easier for me to find a way to make much more money than it is to find a way to be a thin tall blond girl with huge boobs Get real. You assume that most men like thin tall blond girls with huge boobs . There's probably going to be a few dudes out there that think you're the hottest girl on the planet. Marinade on that for a while.....
Oxy Moronovich Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Jersey Shortie, is that you? These posts are starting to seem familiar. I thought I was the only one who thought DY was Jersey Shortie. The posting style is basically the same: generalizing women as always victims; the rabid anti-porn campaigning; generalizing men as being unfair victimizers; viewpoints are saturated in emotionalism and negativity; etc. Plus, DY lives on the East Coast and registered around the time Shortie disappeared. Hmmm. 1

zengirl Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Well, women aren't only attracted to rich dudes either, so that's kind of a strawman to her analogy. I do think it's personally easier to make money than to significantly change your looks --- though money can help do that --- so I guess I disagree with FC on that one. All depends what your "base" looks are, really, sometimes changing those IS easier, and it's really doesn't matter either way. I have never sought men who had a strong affinity and fixation with youth and beauty, even though I (believe I) am fairly young and beautiful -- not AS young now, obviously, as we're all getting older every moment. Thus, I have never been insecure, nor could I imagine being insecure about that, because that aspect of myself doesn't define me and hasn't since I was an insecure teenager. I meet many women who define their worth, partially or fully, by their beauty (or lack thereof) and then get surprised when men and others do the same. I'm sure the same holds true of men with money or muscles or whatever. I will say that society is going to do what it's going to do, and it certainly has a bias towards youth and beauty, even more so for women, in external factors, like commercials and magazines. But just stop reading that stuff! It's really not hard today, when you can choose what you take in or don't.
mesmerized Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Apparently you think men are only attracted to thin, tall blonde women with big boobs...? Well...that's certainly most men's "ideal", at least where I live. It's really been proven to me over and over. Even if you dismiss that look, a girl with an unattractive face will have hell of a time changing her face to be very attractive than a guy will have to achieve a great career.

Yes, it may be most men's "ideal where you live". But it is far from being the ideal for the majority of men. I know the media wants you to think there is one definition of what men consider attractive but no, there isn't.

I know the media wants you to think there is one definition of what men consider attractive but no, there isn't. meh, tbh, where ever I have gone to that look has turned heads the most. Guys find girls who look like this to be "the prize". You might not even need the big boobs and the height. Being thin and blond are usually the necessary parts though I really wish you were right and the majority of men didn't find the same things attractive, would make women's lives much easier. But it's pretty much true by what I've seen and heard. 1
RedRobin Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 ... the problem is... one's money making ability tends to increase with age. One's looks tend not to improve with age. I stay away from men who define themselves based on superficial qualities of any kind. If their compliments tend to swing more towards how you look versus your personal qualities... that's how I know I've come across one of 'those'. It is why I never posted my pics, income, or even my educational status when I did OLD. If I ever did it again (and I seriously doubt I ever will) that is how I would do it.
zigg1 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 we cant wear make up to make ourselves look better, which sucks lol. personally i dont look for looks in a women, the women i fall for are the ones that i dont even find physically attractive, but eventually grow attraction to through their personality.

People typically peak in their 40's when it comes to their employment so the increase slows or stagnates to the point of not keeping up with inflation.
Woggle Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 If only blonde women are considered attactrive by men why do I see many brown haired and red haired women with attractive men? Why are women like Megan Fox, Mila Kunis and Eva Mendez considered major sex symbols? 1

Also, the type I mentioned isn't very common so you're bound to see men with other women, doesn't mean those are their ideals.

I don't deny that men are attracted to attractive women but women are no different. People are visual in general.

Woggle Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I never claimed otherwise. My response was to FC who thought women have it easy and to OM who said men find different things attractive. Men do find different things attractive. Maybe it is where I live but here most women who always have the guys chasing them are not your typical blonde and perky types. Also I see women who are downright ugly who have men and walk around with three or four kids. Somebody had sex with them.

What men consider "hot" for the most part looks the same for the majority of men. Obviously it's somewhat of a cultural thing but the influence of western media all over the world is starting to make this ideal image a worldwide thing.
FitChick Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 a girl with an unattractive face will have hell of a time changing her face to be very attractive than a guy will have to achieve a great career. Not in this economy. Men have been disproportionately affected by job loss, especially if they are over 45. Women can get plastic surgery.

Well I live in America and where I am from the blonde types are not the ideal. Italian brunettes seem to be what most men chase after. I also see average women with very attractive men. Hugh Jackman's wife is average plus there are a few other famous men who have average wives.

But you are from the Jersey Shore where fat oompa loompa women like Snooki are considered super models.
ThaWholigan Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 But you are from the Jersey Shore where fat oompa loompa women like Snooki are considered super models. I would f*ck snooki, no lie
Woggle Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 But you are from the Jersey Shore where fat oompa loompa women like Snooki are considered super models. Trust me when I say not every woman here looks like Snookie. Nobody actually likes them and only tolerate them because they are good for business.
