Ever since my freshman year (me being 14 then while she was 24 then) I've liked Ms Murray my history teacher. I would always try to be the best in her class and sometimes helped her grade exam papers or give her an apple. While I liked the class and have a good GPA, I also did it to spend some time with her.

Only problem is that by next year after graduation I'll still be 17 (3 months shy from turning 18). Right now I'm still 16 and I'm in 11th grade.

But can I still ask her out once I'm 18? Right now she's single and I heard she broke up with a bf last year. Can't get her out of my mind. She's the most coolest, funniest and beautifulest woman I've ever seen. Anyone ever delt with this or know someone else that had a long crush on a teacher?

If she were to say yes will it work out?

I had a Ms. Lauri in Freshman class and she was the hottest teacher I have ever had. She was young and seemed fun. ALL the guys just stared and paid attention. I know what you are going through. Now the advice would be to forget about it.

1. You dick is talking for you.

2. If she was a good teacher, she would refuse and student in the school.

3. Remember that 17 year old girl who didn't have sex with her teacher (40+) until she turned 18? Yea, I don't believe it for a second. She will go to jail.

Only if she's ugly or there are no men on the jury.

I know a guy who reconnected with and dated one of his teachers years after graduating. I know a guy who knows a guy who slept with two of his teachers during his school days. Might as well enjoy yourself and give it a shot, I would come up with a better approach than simply asking her out on a date though.

Never had a crush on a teacher. Most of the teachers at my school were women - almost all women, and almost all hags. The only man was a creep who once confiscated a dirty letter I was writing about him in class, and blackmailed me about it for the rest of term.

"You haven't even got your Ecce Romani open. What insolence. Might I remind you I have a certain document in my possession that I might well take along to parents' evening with me..."

If you, like my old Latin teacher, are keen for something school-related to masturbate to, I would recommend "Notes on a Scandal" by Zoe Heller. Actually, I think the American version is titled "What was she thinking?" (no idea why they had to change it). It's about a 40 something teacher who has an affair with a 15 year old boy (who is, of course, totally up for it and makes moves on her throughout the school year).

An older female teacher who has a crush on her finds out and blackmails her. Eventually it all comes out, of course...and as the writer notes, the guardians of equality are adamant that the whole thing must be publicised to the max and, of course, she must be punished as harshly as possible to remind everybody that women too can be paedophiles.

Leave your teacher alone, boyo. Regardless of whether you've come of age, in the unlikely event that she's interested in an affair with a teeanger it would still be regarded as an abuse of her position. Her career could end up in tatters, possibly her life too, and all so that you could have an older woman/teacher experience to reminisce about on some message board in 10 years time.

You wrote a dirty letter that was masturbation material but didn't have a crush on him? What was in it?

It's interesting how so many young teens wanna get with an older adult. I find it fascinating and likely normal biology, since teens (16-19) often are in their sexual prime and naturally looking to select a mate. Their lusts for an older partner only brings forth the curiosity of having that experience.

I'm dating a 18 year old girl right now. I'm a lot older than her and people look pretty annoyed with us but she's so into me and I feel the same way and we're going to a massage parlor together tomorrow for some fun, but the difference here is that there's no position of authority or trust that the OP has, so therefore no consequences.

Well, I liked to sit at the back of the class and muck about with my friend (only the swots took Latin, and we didn't really fit in as the swots didn't particularly like us). He used to always order me to the front of the class to sit on my own at at two desks, and then he would sit on the other desk next to me and place his feet on the chair next to me.

It bugged the hell out of me. One day when he was striding about chattering Latin verbs, I decided to vent in a letter to one of my friends who wasn't in the Latin class. I wrote that he either had a hard on or was pregnant. That if it was a hard on I was certain it was for me, seeing as he always made me sit on the front. That if it was pregnancy, I hoped he wouldn't try to claim it was mine.

Basically 14 year old girl nonsense....nothing really that filthy at all, but when he suddenly snatched the piece of paper up I nearly died. He kept it underneath his copy of Ecce Romani for the rest of the class. I hoped that he'd just throw it away....but, of course, he read it, and threatened to tell my parents about it at the end of the following day's class. I ended up telling them about it myself after weeks of him threatening to (piss or get off the pot, man). After that, I was so unco-operative with him that he refused to allow me in his class any longer.

Sorry OP for hijacking your thread with my old tale of woe....but I must admit my radar went off a bit when I read the part about you giving your teacher an apple.

No wonder you don't want to age of consent lowered.

Unless she doesn't value all the years of higher education/license/career/retirement she will be throwing down the shytter...I hope you have a lot to offer her!

Doesn't matter if you are waiting for 12:00am on your 18th bday to kick it to her. If anyone wanted to make it a point that she was with you while you were her student and a minor, they could start some trouble.

Find someone your age and in your leave. A 24yr with a career with a 18 yr old who just graduated HS (and was their student) is like babysitting. Can't even go to a bar together.

TMI...

She's so into you because in reality you are in the position of authority. 18 yr girl is basically a child. I am 34 and have a 16 yr old daughter. Some creepy older man wants to take her to Massage Parlors he aint going to have legs to massage. IDGAF even if she is 18. At 18 you don't know ish about life.

Just to correct you on some of your ignorance, an adult having sex with a 14 or 15 year old is not a pedophile. That term is being thrown around too loosely without proper understanding.

Teenagers are sexually mature and know what they want sexually; maybe not know what they want relationship-wise with an adult, but no teenager is ever emotionally traumatized from fooling around with an adult that they decided on doing themselves, so stop defending them.

If you were talking about pre-teens such as 12 and under, then you would have more of an argument and I would take you more seriously.

Do you have any kids? I wonder if it would be perfectly fine for your 14yr old daughter to sleep with a 25yr old man.

No it wouldn't be fine because it's breaking the law. I wasn't talking about that. I was stating that a 14 year old girl has enough understanding that to sleep with an older man she's doing it out of curiosity or just lust. Now, if that said girl says that she believes that sleeping with an adult male will give her an ever-lasting relationship, then obviously it's silly and wrong.

There's a reason why different states have varying ages of consent since it works with their upbringing. The further down south you go the lower is the age of consent like 15-16 because life is slower-paced and teens are given heavier responsibility earlier than their counterparts up north.

In your haste to correct others on their "ignorance" you appear to have overlooked the context in which I used that word....ie commenting specifically on a book I read, and even more specifically on the public reaction (in that book) to/labelling of a female teacher having an affair with a 15 year old boy. I was not giving a view about what consititutes paedophilia.

However, since you evidently regard yourself as being well informed on this subject, please do educate me by outlining the criteria a psychiatrist would employ in deciding whether or not to assess somebody as a paedophile.

She is unlikely to go out with you or have a relationship because she would risk having her reputation ruined. I don't think it looks good for a teacher to date a former pupil barely out of school.

I'm sure you are lovely and she might even be tempted but she is old enough to know that this isn't something that would have a future and she financially couldn't afford to have her career potentially damaged by it.
