How can someone say they want to get married then leave you 2 days later?

I'll eventually get over this. But I'm still coping. We had a big fight. Reconciled. We were both very loving. 2 days before she vanished she tells me she'd say yes. If I was to ask her to get married. Then she vanishes. We were even complimenting each other that night and being sweet to each other. She tells me she has to leave my place early. I then get a dump text and she blocks my #. Is it possible it's another guy?

This is normal for someone who is going back and forth in their mind. Many are talking about marriage and even naming future kids and suddenly disappear. In that "high" moment they are putting everything they have into things to try and make it better, but it doesn't get better that way.

Ya. I wasnt aware of this being commom amongst serious couples discussing marriage. So whats the typical outcome? The fleeing person mever returns? It's so odd. Because she was the one who randomly said it.

It's only common if one person has the desire to leave the relationship but also fears what the outside world has to offer.

 

The odds usually flow in the favor of the relationship not returning.
