staringspace Posted June 3, 2012 Share Posted June 3, 2012 I have been single for about 3 months now (after a long term relationship), and I'm enjoying only having to look after myself and having a lot more time to do what I want - however, after hearing that one of my mates has recently got herself a new boyfriend, it leaves me being the only one in my close group of mates without one. I'm happy for her obviously, but I'm feeling a bit lonely and whilst it's only been 3 months, I am starting to feel ready for a new relationship and seeing most people in one has gotten me down. I don't think it helps that my ex started seeing another girl straightaway, and that my encounters with guys I've liked recently haven't been that successful. It's been bringing me down, and I've started to question myself and what I'm doing wrong. I'm just feeling a bit dejected about the whole thing at the moment and I'm worried that my mates (over summer) will just be with their boyfriends all the time, and I won't get to see them. More so, it makes me think about when I'll be next in a relationship, and that I'm missing having that experience with someone. Some advice would be grand! Link to post Share on other sites
