Im meeting a former colleague today - we worked together for three months, got on really well. Shes attractive, passionate about the role I do, which is great because its something I believe in.

While we have stayed in touch, on a professional level (she moved to another organisation in the same field), shes suggested meeting at a pub.

Im a little gun shy, having gone through a break up 3 months ago. I dont know if Im over analysing this, but I am attracted to her. What do you think? how to play it? theres no reason to think theyres anything more than friends.......

If she wasn't attractive would you go?

Yeah I would - making more of an effort to meet new people, find new friends, so yeah for sure.

I know its a strange question - for some reason Im nervous even thought there hasnt really been any signs of interest, dont wanna make an idiot of myself.

Yeah it was a success to say the least;)

had a horrific breakup two months ago and was feeling really down, nice to get a new contact, something pointing toward a fresh start.

Hopefully better times ahead.
