Hey guys this is my first time posting on here; I read through a couple threads pertaining to this situation I'm in and since the community seemed pretty cool, I thought I'd ask for some advice on what I'm going through. So basically:

There's this girl that I've been seeing for a couple months now. We met during the school year and things were great at first, we hung out all the time, we hooked up all the time and we texted each other pretty regularly. The school year ended and now we're at our respective hometowns. Slowly but surely we started talking less; she didn't text me quite as often and I was the one who always initiated the conversation. We only live a half hour away from each other so I called her up and asked her out. We went out and afterwards she kissed me and we made out, which I took as a good sign.

However since then (about 8 days), we've only talked once and of course it was me who texted her. I asked when she'd be free next and she said she'd let me know. Well she hasn't and it's really starting to get to me, because I have no idea why she would be acting this cold for no apparent reason.

I really like this girl but I'm not the type to continually chase a girl if she's showing very little interest in me, so I basically refuse to contact her until she contacts me first.

Am I wrong for acting this way? What would you do if you were me?

Thanks for any help!

You are her college BF.

She is in her hometown with her home town BF.

I can't know this, but i've seen it enough times on various relationship forums to recognize the signs.

How far are you guys away from each other?

Why don't you just ask her upfront if she likes you, or not? on what she feels towards you? Open your communication lines, not talking will not do any good. She might be enjoying the company of her family, or friends.
