He comes from a good family, I know one of his parents. So let's get past that... lol So basically he is using middle school tactics to win me over. I really like this guy so hopefully one of us gains the courage to take it to the next level!

I don't see how the whole "good family" plays into anything. You are looking for positives so you can ignore the negatives and date this jerk.

But I would be careful in a work environment especially joking around (throwing stuff and others) can be misinterpreted as harassment by your OTHER co workers when they see this. So you say he is def. interested? Well then-- why was he all flirty with me at work, he helped me when he didn't need to, he came over to talk to me a lot, he teased me about this creepy guy who used to like me, etc so we were joking around and he was teasing me about the creepy guy and then I brought up how i need to find a creepy female coworker to tease him about but he was like nah see you can't think of anyone bc i don't mix business w. pleasure. are my chances shot? or do you think he was kidding?
