If a girl flakes once I cease initiation. She must make efforts when it comes to rescheduling a second chance. If she screws up a second time in any way...Im done immediately.

She jumps my bones the first time. I dont jump a chick first. I make em ache for it and play it cool. I think its a fun game seeing as most dudes rush to have sex at the first shot they get.

Oh, and she says "I love you" first too.

Thats it for my rules.

P.S. - OP your friend is crazy.

I have a few rules. The ones that spring to mind are: I don't date smokers or obese people or ugly people.

a man who has a best female friend; i'm not gonna be the booty call, no

On "rule," would try to keep as few "dealbreakers" as possible.

When I dated, didn't want, like others posted, a smoker or someone obese.

These others were preferences:

-divorced/kids. The latter particularly.

Not sayin' there was anything wrong with either, but in my late 20s, didn't want to deal with the baggage divorce entails and wasn't necessarily interested in being a parent.

Now, I did date divorced women (no kids) so wasn't so firm on that rule.

-wanted someone similar to me in lifestyle.

-no promiscuity. That's not always obvious but if it's clear the woman is/was a "player," or one that slept with almost every guy she dated, generally wouldn't be interested.

Didn't necessarily mean I would only date a "virgin," but preferred someone who was similar to me in sexual experience (little experience).

Virginity, therefore, would be a plus in my eyes...

-religion. She didn't have to espouse the same views I had, but wanted someone who at least was nominally Christian or expressed a belief in God.

If she belittled my views, wouldn't have any of it.

But I once dated an agnostic so that wasn't always a hard-and-fast rule.
