Would Favre still not get any sympathy if he were a woman who said she was emotionally neglected by her husband?

Just a thought.

Not from me. Cheating does not have a gender. Wrong does not have a gender. If it sucks...leave the marriage.

Better tell her NOW than waiting for her to catch you...like by reading these posts.

A woman would want to know that you came to the end of an affair on you own, and out of self-realization that you love her...rather than having her forever wonder if you stopped only because you got busted.

He didn't come to any self realization...he got dumped. Otherwise he would still be in the middle of the mess.

Well, the self-realization was that maybe he got dumped because he was emotionally divided.

I don't remember that he was emotionally divided. He was about to leave his wife and the OW decided she was not interested in him anymore; she has a new bf. He trusted a cheater and as many of us have discovered, this is not altogether a good idea.

What a mess. I really feel sorry for his wife...to be told that he was with someone else for 7 years. How devastating.

Also, eta, he is heartbroken because he lost the OW, which is a further insult to the W. favre, do your wife a favor and do not grieve the loss of your OW to your W. It is cruel.

so me myself, wgw and MM4 are the `cheaters`??? don`t think

so!!!!

Read it again....

Yes, a cheater generally garners sympathy from other cheaters regardless of gender

You just completely missed that! :D

Hey coopster,

I can't figure out if you got me or not.

What I was saying is that if you are a cheater, you will feel sorry for those people who are also cheaters and it does not matter what their gender is. Cheaters will often defend cheaters on these threads.

I was not saying the men on this thread were cheaters...come on now. Some of my best friends on here are men!!! :)

For being neglected yes, man or woman. For taking the cheap way out and cheating No, again man or woman. Now if you'll excuse me i have a #4 jersey I need to cover up for awhile.

Simple, affair partner need a crutch to fall back on while she left her husband (Favre) Then, newly single decides to test the waters, enter guy with truck.

Affair partner still wants crutch so rather then cheating on husband now wants to cheat on boyfriend.

2 marriages and an affair with one bullet!!!!

Counseling, and lots of it.

Just to back Steen up, coopster-

I don't believe you, me, or anyone else is even part of the equation being outlined in that original statement. It's just about cheaters strictly, and we're not so...we don't factor into that assessment. It's apples n' oranges, far as I can tell.

Absolutely! Women who cheat on their husbands get creamed on LS.

Did you tell her why? Did you come clean about the affair?

How did she take the news?

Think Steen and i just got our wires crossed! :)

no worries, coop!

yeah but it does worry me. i`m being stabbed in the back from people at work, at home, and now here...on an anonymous web thread.

no matter what i say, it gets screwed :(

I might as well just shut up

OK...I generally do not like getting into a peeing contest, and I am not going to address anything else that happens with you and other people on here, but I will with me. I said something that you misunderstood and that is fine. It happens to all of us When I tried to explain it so that my meaning was understood, you became abrasive and then sarcastic. Yet, I still did not get mad, but tried again to explain what I was saying and then WGW did too. You then said all was Ok and now are saying you are getting stabbed in the back? Idk, coop, I sure didn't mean to make you think I was stabbing you in the back. I was trying to make sure you knew I was not calling most of the men on here cheaters and that cheaters generally sympathize with other cheaters. That was all it amounted to. You give it out pretty good to others to feel attacked, though.

If you are having problems with other people at home, at work and here, you need to ask them what is going on. I only know what I was trying to say to you.

Sorry, favre, for the t/j.
