noodlecheese Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Why has my ex contact me? I’m rather confused about this, really. My ex and I had been together on and off for a couple of years. She was my first love. We broke up due to her inability to be consistent and available, but it always felt like our connection was still there, as we’d communicate in the way that we had always did in our relationship. I then found out that she had actually moved on, and was with someone else. She effectively had strung me along. It was then that I decided to cut contact with her, and to say goodbye, for I couldn’t be her friend after all the s*** she had put me through. I had the decency to tell her goodbye, to explain how I felt and for it to be civil. She understood and didn’t stop me. And its been about a month and a half of no contact, and I admit that I’ve felt better for it. But out of nowhere she has contact me, saying how a song makes her ‘think of me every time.’ And that she’s ’sorry for texting and hopes that I am okay’. Why do you think she texting me? Is she looking to have friendship, or to prevent me from moving on? Thank you for reading.
Philosoraptor Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 She is still hurting, it's not abnormal at all. Just don't give her any false hope if you don't want to be in it for the long haul.
Chi townD Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 She heard a song that reminder her of you and she started to feel guilty about how she treated you. Doesn't mean that she wants to get back with you. But, she's trying to figure out where your head is at. If you hate her, if you like her, if your indifferent?
