I'm different for me it doesn't make a difference in value or meaning being told I'm attractive. Most likely he wouldn't be here if I wasn't so the words hold the same value as a pickup line from a passerby it's the person that may have different value. What I meant is that I only reserve compliments about beauty for a woman I am close to. It is important because the words carry way more weight that way. If you lavish compliments on someone constantly, they become akin to noise. I can't really explain it, but in nearly every relationship I've been in, when I do wait for a good moment to tell a woman how gorgeous she is, I've gotten an amazingly passionate response. Perhaps it just works for me due to the type of women I date and the way I approach courtship.
